On Saturday, May 28 at about 2PM , gunfire broke out in the street outside my Zona Dorado home. There was a wedding going on in the church next door. Assault forces moved up the street firing automatic weapons. Somewhere out of my sight, gunfire was being returned. The wedding had just finished. Guests hit the floor, or took cover. The best man was killed. There were police in the wedding party. They ran to their cars and got their own assault rifles. The battle was on. The noise was deafening. The first wave lasted about 60 seconds. Two others were wounded |

When the gunfire stopped for the first time, guests were screaming everywhere. They ran from the church, pounding on doors in the neighborhood, wanting to be somewhere safe. |

The police regrouped. Then gunfire broke out again further up the street. The police began drawing their guns again. |

Sporatic gunfire continued for 10 minutes. When it was safe, the ambulances came. It was casual. The police didn't seem to care about the victims. I assumed the victims were Bad Guys. |
